Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 June 2026
1. The service
Cysoni provides software for accountancy practices to capture invoices, receipts and bank statements and post them to accounting software. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts and access
You are responsible for your account credentials and for the actions of users you add to your practice. You must only connect inboxes and accounting organisations you are authorised to access, and only with the relevant party's consent.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access data belonging to other practices, or use it for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
4. Your data and your clients' data
You retain ownership of your data and your clients' data. We process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy and our Data Processing Agreement. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and any necessary consent to capture your clients' data through the service.
5. Third-party services
The service integrates with third parties (including Google, Xero, Anthropic, Stripe and others). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.
6. Fees
Paid plans are billed via Stripe in advance on a recurring basis. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and may carry out maintenance from time to time.
8. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cysoni is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. The service assists with bookkeeping but does not replace professional judgement — you remain responsible for reviewing what is posted to your accounting software.
9. Termination
You may cancel at any time. On termination we will delete your data in line with our Privacy Policy. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified to account holders. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
